Aim

To update pharmacy technicians on new guidance on the diagnosis, monitoring and management of chronic asthma. 

Learning objectives

 After completing this module, and its online counterpart, pharmacy technicians will be
able to:    

  • Understand the changes introduced by the NICE/BTS/SIGN draft guidance 
  • Be familiar with the SABA-free pathway to asthma management
  • Be able to support patients with prescriptions for asthma inhalers.
